About us

Hi, I’m Ed — a food blogger, home cook, and recipe traveler exploring the world through flavors.
Welcome to Book of Foods, my space for sharing stories, recipes, and everything I’ve learned about making food both joyful and nourishing.

My journey began back in 2015, when cooking was just a simple hobby. I’ve always loved to eat — honestly, food has been my biggest passion for as long as I can remember.
But for years, I struggled to understand how to eat right without giving up the taste and pleasure of real food. That confusion often led to extra weight, frustration, and a lot of “I’ll start eating healthy on Monday” moments.

Over time, my curiosity turned into dedication. I started studying nutrition, experimenting in my own kitchen, and exploring how different cultures approach food and balance.
Somewhere along the way, I discovered that healthy food doesn’t have to be bland or boring — it can be colorful, rich in flavor, and deeply satisfying.
By changing my mindset (and my menu), I ended up losing over 20 kilograms — and gaining a completely new relationship with food.

What began as a small personal challenge soon grew into a mission. Today, I see it as my responsibility — and joy — to share what I’ve learned with others.
Through Book of Foods, I want to help people discover that eating well is not about restriction, but about balance, culture, and pleasure.

Every recipe here has a story — from family meals and travel discoveries to cultural traditions that inspire me to cook.
I believe food connects us all: it’s how we celebrate, how we learn about the world, and how we take care of ourselves.

Now, this blog has become more than just my space — it’s a growing community of enthusiasts, home cooks, and food lovers who believe that good food can change the way we feel and live.

Thank you for being here.
I hope these recipes and stories inspire you to explore, cook, and fall in love with food all over again — one dish at a time. 🌍🍴
